Resolutions of the Seventy-Fifth Session of Bishops of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC

Resolutions of the Seventy-Fifth Session of Bishops of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC 26-27 April 2017 AD, Lviv

1. To take into consideration the state of fulfilling decisions of the main topic of the Synod of Bishops as of 2013 regarding the strategy of development of our Church in the east of Ukraine − "Directions of new evangelization in the UGCC."

2. To take into consideration the report of the UGCC Missionary Fund about arriving funds and their distribution.

3. To take into consideration the state of collaboration between hierarchical structures from Halychyna and those from other parts of Ukraine.

4. To entrust to the Patriarchal economate of the UGCC to develop the Statute of the All-Church Fund of priestly solidarity and present it for consideration and approval to the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC in 2017.

5. To approve the declaration of the Synod of Bishops of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC regarding the "revelations" of s. Maria Baran, which are being spread by Fr. Antonij Hryhorij Planchak.

6. On behalf of the Synod of Bishops of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC to express gratitude to the bishops and priests of our Church in Poland for the proper pastoral support they give to our Ukrainian migrant workers and emigrants.

7. For providing proper pastoral guidance for the Ukrainian migrant workers and emigrants in Poland:

А. To ask His Beatitude Sviatoslav to send a letter to the Polish catholic episcopate regarding the collaboration between the UGCC and the Episcopal Conference of Poland with the aim of providing proper pastoral care to the faithful of the UGCC in Poland.

Б. To ask the Bishops of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC in the bilateral work with the UGCC episcopate in Poland to actively care about providing good pastoral support for our migrant workers and emigrants in Poland.

В. To ask the priests of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC to inform their faithful about various structures and events held by the UGCC in Poland so that our faithful could receive good spiritual guidance in their Church during their stay in this country.

8. For proper honoring of the victims of the operation "Wisla", 1947:

А. On Sunday, April 30, 2017 AD, to serve  Requiem Masses to commemorate the victims of this violence.

Б. To install in all cathedrals of our Church commemorative plaques for honoring the victims of this violence.

9. To take into consideration the report about the work of the Catechetical commission of Kyiv Galician Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC.

These resolutions come into effect on May, 15 2017 AD.
