At present more than at other times, our social services want to be sure that people, staggered with the falling economy and increased costs for produce, have access to healthy meals, to feed themselves and their families. The Church of Saint Nicholas the Wonder-worker does everything possible to answer worthily to the growth of these necessities and needs the help of the community to continue the mission. We appealed to the Social Department of the Pecherskyi District State Administration with a request to give a list of families who live in poverty, in order to help them.» So the pastor of the church, Fr. Ihor Onyshkevych, talked about the activity of the food bank. According to the managers of the bank there are three methods to become depositors of the bank: food offerings, volunteering, and donating money. www.kreschatic.kiev.ua/ua/3466/news/1235386561.html
