Recently the UGCC Patriarchal Pilgrimage Center has published a guide Pilgrim Sites of UGCC that lists and describes the history of miraculous icons and relics of saints as well as sacred edifices that house these holy objects.

The publication contains some hundred pilgrim sites of the Greek-Catholic eparchy and exarchates in Ukraine.  A description of each place is provided with an address and access directions.  The volume is richly illustrated, including the sacred edifices (churches, chapels, monasteries, etc.) as well as relics which are housed there, both in their original and present states.  Included is a map of Ukraine on which all the described UGCC shrines are highlighted. Finally, the edition also includes a chapter which explains the significance of pilgrimages for Christians and the proper worship of icons. In his preface, Patriarch Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) emphasizes that the goal of the publication is “to serve in popularizing the pilgrimage shrines of our Church and thereby spiritually enriching our people.”
