Bishop Dionisij in Caserta blessed almost forty Ukrainian children to take part in Altar and Mari serving

On December 23, 2018, the Apostolic Visitor for Ukrainian Catholics in Italy, Dionysij Liakhovych, visited the Ukrainian parish of the Holy Trinity in Caserta, which celebrated its 5th anniversary this very day.

Before the beginning of the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of St. Anthony of Padua, Bishop Dionisij and the parish priest Fr. Ihor Danylchuk carried out the rite of admission to the Altar and Marian service groups of the thirty-eight Ukrainian children of Caserta.

 

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See Tetiana Izhevska and Consul General of Ukraine in Naples Victor Hamotsky took part in the celebrations.

 

At the end of the Liturgy Fr. Ihor Danylchuk presented several mecenats with the letters of honor of the Bishop Dionisij for the high contribution to the development of the Ukrainian community in the city of Caserta.

The celebrations ended with a concert on the occasion of the holiday of St. Nicholas.
