Bishop Joseph (Milyan): We plan to complete all external work on the cathedral by winter

The head of the Supervisory Council on the Building of the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ Bishop Joseph (Milyan) stated in an interview that all work in the crypt and basement of the cathedral is planned to be finished by winter. “We are planning to work on the façade, fill the foundation with granite, warm the basement from inside. Finish the main entrance, build the stairs, install the front doors. Maybe we will even succeed in putting in the mosaic above the entrance doors. We also plan to do install the outside lighting. Its presentation has to happen sometime in autumn,” said the bishop. Also, according to him, it is planned to plaster the patriarchal office and insert windows and doors. “Thus we want to complete all the external work so that in winter we can work in the inside,” he stressed.
