“It is important for the Church that the seminarians already during their studies prepare to be priests who trust God, take initiative, and accept responsibility. God’s word is not limited to some category of people. It incites us to speak in a clear language to different people and communities,” stated the apostolic administrator of the Eparch of Stryj on February 1, 2010, at a meeting with the seminarians in Lviv.

Bishop Taras for a first time as the apostolic administrator met with the seminarians who study in the Lviv Spiritual Seminary of the UGCC. From the Eparchy of Stryj study forty-nine seminarians in the seminary. The theme of the meeting became the analysis of features of pastoral ministry of priests in the newest public terms. In the opinion of the bishoр “the ministering of a priest has to turn special attention to pastoral chaplaincy in hospitals, the military, school, among young people, couples, and the elderly.”
