In Rudno, in the Lviv region, a catechistic and pilgrimage camp for the children of the Kyivan Archeparchy is taking place. The camp is organized by the administration of the Lviv Spiritual Seminary and the Youth Commission of Kyivan Archeparchy and supported by the charitable organization Church in Need. As part of the camp, children will have spiritual retreats, pilgrimages to Krekhiv and Glinyany, and cultural trips through ancient Lviv. The first group of children, from the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions, is already in Lviv. The next group, from the Zhytomyr and Vinnytsya regions, will arrive in Lviv next week. “This project is very important for us because these children will grow to be active in the church, and in the future will be the laity, who, especially in the Kyivan Archeparchy, will serve as the ‘megaphones of Church,’ because they will spread the Gospel in their homes and work places,” said Fr. Vitaliy Martsyniuk, head of the Youth Commission of the Kyivan Archeparchy.
