On June 26, 2009, at the headquarters of the Lviv Regional State Department for Automobile Inspection, workers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) met with representatives of a branch of the Patriarchal Curia of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church responsible for chaplaincy of government institutions of Ukraine. Reverend Bishop Mikhail (Koltun), the head of the above-mentioned UGCC department, and his deputy, Fr. Lubomyr Lubomyr Yavors’kyj, took part in the meeting. The meeting was dedicated to the celebration of Constitution Day.  Bishop Mikhail greeted everyone with the holiday and thanked them for their cooperation. Fr. Lubomyr followed suit and commented that: “for a man there are two laws: Divine law and human law. These laws must exist simultaneously and we should respect and protect them. Your duty is a special one, in that you safeguard both human and Divine law.” Towards the end of the meeting, the participants were presented with prayer books entitled ”Pray and Serve” and an icon of Saint George (the Victory-bearer). Additionally, they were extended an invitation to take part in the First All-Ukrainian Pilgrimage for government institutions of Ukraine, which will take place on September 19-20, 2009, in Zarvanytsya.
