Children congratulate newly ordained hierarch

School children of the St. Sophia School in Lviv congratulated Bishop Benedict (Aleksiychuk) on his ordination after a celebratory Liturgy in the metropolitan chambers on Saint George Hill. The children sang a few songs and congratulated the newly ordained hierarch with poems. “For the children it is a wonderful opportunity to show their talents and to receive blessings from the bishop. The St. Sophia School is an institution based on Christian teaching and that is why it is important for us to take part in such an important event for our church,” said the leader of collective and teacher at the school Bohdan Dzyama. Every participant received an icon from the ordination of Bishop Benedict.
