The Christian youth website DyvenSvit, a volunteer project of the Commission on Matters of Youth of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, on November 1, 2011 celebrates the first anniversary of the launch of its site on November 1, 2011. During this time, youth in Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Ternopil, and Lviv Oblasts and in Rome were the most active participants in the creation of youthInternet site. Anyone can publish information that is interesting for people between the ages of 16 and 35 on the DyvenSvit blog. In particular, youth communities can report on their activities. This site can not only provide information but also help Christians increase their knowledge of religious life, particularly, in thesection “Ask the Priest.” Experience shows that many people return to this section with gratitude for requests heard by God. “According to the plan, the site aims not only to provide young people with a wide range of quality information from religious, cultural and social life, to highlight the possibilities of good entertainment, but also to form a community of caring, responsible, and active people who are ready to abandonstereotypes and open their lives to God. Therefore, young people meet not only by working on the development site but also at gatherings after Mass, retreats, workshops in origami and journalism,” said Fr. Rostislav Pendyuk, chair of the Commission on Matters of Youth of the UGCC. The team at Site DyvenSvit invites all interested people to create a large youth community, a multifaceted, unpredictable, and unforgettable life which DyvenSvit is ready to cover.
