First course students blessed by Ukrainian hierarchies

On September 4, at the Academy of Ground Forces, 274 first course students took the military oath to serve the Ukrainian nation. During the several next years they receive a military education in four faculties of this higher military educational institution.
On September 4, at the Academy of Ground Forces, 274 first course students took the military oath to serve the Ukrainian nation. During the several next years they receive a military education in four faculties of this higher military educational institution.  On the invitation of the command of the academy, heads of the regional and city higher military leadership of the state attended the ceremony. In order to bless the freshmen, the following representatives of Ukrainian Churches came to the event: Bishop Mikhail (Koltun); Bishop Augustine, Archbishop of Lviv and Halychyna UOC-MP; and Fr. Volodymyr Bachynskyj, secretary of the Lviv-Sokal eparchy of the UOC-KP. The hierarchs greeted and blessed the present students. The celebration was completed with performances of military orchestras.
