According to his observations, people's reaction to these dramatic circumstances was different. "Someone ran away, locked himself in his little world, looking for some exclusive space and tried to distinguish himself from others. But, in the end, such people all fell ill, realizing that separating themselves from their neighbors does not work," said the Primate.

There was also another attempt, he said, to somehow enter the dynamics of the process and share what we have. And those people who from the beginning wanted to share what they have with their neighbor, experienced this year best and most positively. Because they realized that when we share with others, we lose nothing.

"There was a third type of reaction - trying to rebel, in one way or another disagree with what is happening, and look for someone to blame. We have seen the reaction of such rebels - from denying the existence of the coronavirus to conspiracy theories, saying that someone deliberately created these circumstances. Now, I see, there is a similar reaction to vaccination. Some say that in this way they want to use the genetic code to control people," he said.

This happens because, according to the Head of the UGCC, people absolutely do not trust those around them. And they always look for someone to blame in their troubles.

"But from a Christian, religious point of view," says His Beatitude Sviatoslav, "in circumstances over which we cannot rule, there is the hand of the Lord God."
