With Jordan’s water, Deacon Constantine Panteley, proto-presbyter Ihor Onyshkevych, and volunteers from the parish of Askold’s Grave visited the prison of Lukyaniv. Due to the help of the donator Mr. Felix Pavlovych, a bottle of holy water was prepared for every cell. Thanks to the working project to help imprisoned women, the parochial service of Caritas of Askold’s Grave distributed sweets, warm socks, slippers, Mivina, soap, a toothbrush, and toothpaste to the women. In addition, an icon was granted to every cell, more than forty of them.  In response to a specific need, the faithful also gathered items for a newborn child: warm clothes, pampers, toys, and books for the mother.  The detained women heard a word about Jordan and Baptism of Jesus Christ. All were sanctified with the holy water and shared the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Together with the priest they prayed and increased their hope for freedom.
