In Cherkassy, the third festival "Christmas Carol", was taking place

On the 20th of January, in the Drama Theatre of Cherkassy, a gala concert of the third festival "Christmas Carol", was taking place. The Christmas festival, which was taking place at the initiative of Fr. Julian Sheremeta, the administrator of the UGCC Parish of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, and with the assistance of the city mayor, this year, lasted from 17th to 20th January in two categories: adult and children's communities and ensembles. This was reported by Fr. Julian Sheremeta, the administrator of the UGCC Parish of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Cherkassy.

At the concert, among those who were going Christmas caroling, were: choir “Dzerelo” and the Folk Dance Ensemble “Veselka”, children’s ensemble “Suzir’ya”, Vladyslav Prydatchenko, vocal studio “Orfey” and dance theatre “Artaniya”, trio “Barvy”, folk group “Spadshchyna” of the Cherkasky Silk Mill, the chamber choir "Kanon" and many others.

In his concluding remarks, during the final concert, Fr. Julian stressed that “The Christmas Carol" unites Ukraine: "For as long as our people sing carols, glorifies the Savior, there is no evil that threatens us". After that, carol was heard in the area in front of the theater, near the Christmas tree and Christmas Nativity crib. In conclusion, Fr. Julian, together with the seminarians of Lviv Theological Seminary, performed a carol.
