The wooden church of the Assumption of Our Lady was constructed in 1693 in the Rudka village of Sub-Carpathian Province. This is one of the oldest buildings of the sacred wooden art in Poland. While doing the repair works, in the temple there were replaced the stone foundation, the destroyed log beams and shingles; moreover, the nave was blocked, the floors and the staircase, leading to the choir, were replaced. In 2013, the temple will become open to visitors.

The Synyava government, who is taking care over the sacred object, plans to wire electricity, to install the alarm and fire systems. Next year, in the temple, the sacred museum of the lands of the Synyava Province, will be opened. The renovation works began in 2011. The cost of the works is 300 thousand zlotys.
