From the 12 charitable “With Faith and Love” concerts held from the 7th to the 22nd of September, organizers collected 1,198,000 UAH for the completion of building the Patriarch’s Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. The Information Department of the UGCC was informed about this by Fr. Vasyl Vil'chyk, the head of the department for money collection for construction of the Patriarch’s Center of the UGCC. At the same time Fr. Vasyl remarked that this sum is not final, that money continues to come.
From the 12 charitable “With Faith and Love” concerts held from the 7th to the 22nd of September, organizers collected 1,198,000 UAH for the completion of building the Patriarch’s Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. The Information Department of the UGCC was informed about this by Fr. Vasyl Vil'chyk, the head of the department for money collection for construction of the Patriarch’s Center of the UGCC. The largest sum – 203,370 UAH – was collected during a concert in the town Chortkiv of the Eparchy of Buchach, a little bit less – 202,520 UAH – was received by organizers in Ternopil’. The youth of Ternopil' and Zboriv Eparchy put in a lot of effort to reach such a result. A detailed report with the cities where concerts were held and the sums that were collected is listed below. We recall that the “With Faith and Love” concerts of popular music were conducted in the cities and townships of the Volyn’, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Ternopil’, Ivano-Frankivs’k, and Lviv regions. The following performers took part: Taras Petrynenko and Tetyana Horobets’, the a cappella group Pikkardiyska Tertia, the leader of the group Mandry Foma, groups Druha Rika, S.K.A.Y, Hudimov, Gorgisheli, Trance-former, Natalia and Daryna (Mamay) Sumski, and Ihor Miroshnychenko. The producer was Serhiy Arkhypchuk. This round of concerts, as was the previous, was charitable. (During the concerts of classical music nearly 800 thousand UAH were collected). All the money will go toward the completion of the Patriarch’s Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv.
