On December 26, the latest interdenominational conflict in the Buchach Eparchy of the UGCC, between the Orthodox and Greek Catholic communities, has been resolved.
On December 26, the latest interdenominational conflict in the Buchach Eparchy of the UGCC, between the Orthodox and Greek Catholic communities, has been resolved. In the village Hlopivka, Apostolic Administrator of the Eparchy of Buchach Fr. Dmytro Hryhorakm OSBM, in concelebration with the reverend dean and priests from neighboring parishes consecrated the cross for the building of new church for the Greek Catholics. Representatives of the regional and district administration were present to support the community of Hlopivka.. The village leader expressed profound gratitude to God that under his tenure the building of the church has begun.
All those present, who were held together by God's Spirit, pastoral blessing and the good will of the authorities, gained enthusiasm for building chapels and churches," said Fr. Dmytriy Hryhorak.
