Ihor Shaban, the Head of the UGCC Commission for Promoting Christian Unity, was also present at the meeting. The participants of the meeting discussed current issues of Christian life in modern world. Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, H. B. Lubomyr stressed out that “the main objective of the Churches in Ukraine, especially those of Kyivan tradition, should be promoting unity among our people”. During the meeting there were also discussed the issues related to the future of Christian Europe and possible cooperation between Churches on European continent, especially in social and moral spheres of society. The guests from the Anglican Church noted that their society is becoming more and more secularized. Especially among young people, who are well off, often doubts arise why they have to believe in God if they have everything they need. At the end of the meeting the guests thanked H. B. Lubomyr for a warm welcome and an opportunity to deepen their knowledge about cooperation among the Churches in Ukraine. Finally, both parties exchanged memorable gifts and greeted each other with the upcoming feast of the Resurrection of Christ.   www.ecumenism.com.ua/news/660/
