Pastoral visit of Bishop Stephan in Kharkiv region

Reverend Bishop Stephan (Meniok), Exarch of Donets’k and Kharkiv, visited the parish of the city Dymytrova, Kharkiv region. The Hierarch was accompanied by the clergy of the Exarchate. The Bishop greeted the local community while it celebrated it’s 6th anniversary from its inception and blessed a 12 meter deep well on the territory of the church. The well had been dug by the parishioners so that they would always have clean holy water.

"This visit is very memorable for the Bishop, because two years ago when the Exarch blessed the chapel in Dymytrova, the local religious community consisted of about 30 faithful parishioners and now there are over 100,” commented the Office of the Exarchates.
