“I have never expected that memoirs about my life would be used for writing a book. Many of the facts about the underground life of the UGCC stated in the book have never been revealed to anybody before”. These words were said by Bishop Yulian (Voronovskyi) on 6 May at the presentation of the book “Your will be done” in Drohobych Greek Catholic Seminary.
The book narrates the life journey of Bishop Yulian whose life was closely related to the life of the underground Church – reports the Press Office of the Eparchy of Sambir Drohobych. The title of the book - “Your will be done” – derives from the words of the Lord’s prayer which are carved on the coat of arms of Bishop Yulian. The conversation of a historian Ihor Bryndak with Bishop Yulian was adapted by Rev. Myron Bendyk, the Rector of Drohobych Seminary and Rev. Mykhailo Buchynskyi, the editor of the newspaper “Zhyva voda”. The book was published by editing house “Kolo”.     “A humble and quiet personality of the Bishop has always been a good example to seminarians of patient ministry to ones neighbour” – said Ihor Bryndak, recalling his student years in Lviv Spiritual Seminary the Rector of which at that time was Bishop Yulian. “In those days the Seminary did not have any facilities suitable for studies and life. We had to work hard physically. And what is important is that together with the seminarians worked our Rector – Bishop Yulian”.   Source: web page of Sambir-Drohobych Eparchy of the UGCC
