Retreat God’s Word in the Life of a Christian

From May 27-30, 2010, in the retreat home of Sisters Servants (Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast) took place the retreat for laity: God’s Word in the Life of a Christian. The participants of the retreat had the possibility to deepen their spiritual life and meet with the Lord through reading and praying the Divine Word (Lectio Divina). The participants also experienced conferences led by the Sisters Servants Sister Myroslava and Sister Liubomyra, live participation in liturgical prayer, and the atmosphere in the house and in the nature on territory of monastery. As the participants said it is a “little corner of paradise in the town Nadvirna.” The retreat included a secret confession shared by Fr. Timotey Fesh OSBM.  “The retreat is a special school where participants learn to understand and live by the Divine Word. People uncover the boundlessness of the Divine Love and the depth of sin, and experience God’s mercy, which is so necessary for each of us. Learn to trust the Creator and to build life on the rock who is Christ,” noted the sisters.
