2 June 2011 at 11.30 at UNIAN (4 Khreshatyk str, conference hall), His Beatitude Lubomyr (Husar) will present another of his audio books entitled “Society and power”. It is the first part of the new trilogy of the former Head of the UGCC under the title “Society.” The audio book, as the previous one, is in the form of an interview (two hours) recorded on 2 CD’s.   In his new audio book, His Beatitude  Lubomyr touches on such issues as politics and politicians, power and people; he talks about parliamentarians in cassocks, fundamentalism, relativism, liberalism, cosmopolitanism and nationalism as well as about Church and State, their cooperation and separation.   For His Beatitude Lubomyr, the voice recorded version of the book is the most convenient one: “I am glad that there are means of communication which allow us to share with our neighbours some of our thoughts. For me, of course, it is impossible to write everything down. I can only record my messages”.   The conversation was carried on with the former Head of the UGCC, and a Ukrainian politician and parliamentarian, Lesia Orobets. The foreword to the book was written by the President of the Ukrainian Association of Religious Freedom, Viktor Yelenskyi. The audio book of His Beatitude Lubomyr may be purchased at all UGCC churches. It can also be ordered through the internet shop nashformat.ua which specializes in Ukrainian souvenirs, audio and video products. You can also order there all the audio books of His Beatitude Lubomyr.
