The CF "Caritas Kyiv" has provided people and children who are in need with the humanitarian assistance

The CF "Caritas Kyiv", which takes care of the people in need on the permanent basis, performed another assist - delivered sweets and humanitarian aid to those children and people, who belong to the “in crisis” categories. Chocolate bars, chocolates and other sweets, clothing and footwear were given to: street children, disabled children, half-orphan as well as orphan children, orphanage residents, veterans, the elderly, children from low-income and large families, people with special needs as well as those, who stay in places of deprivation of freedom "- said Father Roman Syrotych, who is the director of CF "Caritas Kyiv."

Over the period from June to August, the assistance was provided to five regions: Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Chernigiv, Cherkassy and Kyiv regions as well as Kiev city. The specified charity activity became possible due to the close cooperation with the Food Bank Foundation and the generosity of Kraft Food Corporation, as well as, due to other benefactors.

"On my own behalf and on the behalf of all those people and children, who received assistance, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all benefactors, because that is their contribution that made children’s faces shine with the smile, and faces of the elderly – with the tears of joy”, says Fr. Roman.
