The Diocesan Night Walking Pilgrimage of emigrants’ families will take place in Drohobych

The Pastoral Missionary Department of UGCC, Department of Immigration and Emigration of the Sambir-Drohobytsk Diocese, as well as, the Charity Fund “Caritas” of Sambir-Drohobytsk UGCC invite families of the emigrants and everyone else, wishing to come, to the General Diocesan Night Walking Pilgrimage Drohobych – Hrushiv, which will take place on 23-24 of June.
The Pastoral Missionary Department of UGCC, Department of Immigration and Emigration of the Sambir-Drohobytsk Diocese, as well as, the Charity Fund “Caritas” of Sambir-Drohobytsk UGCC invite families of the emigrants and everyone else, wishing to come, to the General Diocesan Night Walking Pilgrimage Drohobych – Hrushiv, which will take place on 23-24 of June. The Pilgrimage will start on Saturday, 23 June, at 7 pm with the Prayer in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Consequently, pilgrims will go on a prayer-walk over the streets of Drohobych and will pray in the local churches. The pilgrims will embark on their way to the Hrushiv village for the Night Walking Pilgrimage at 10.30 pm, with the stop=over in the Rehabilitation centre “Nazaret” in the Rykhtychi village. The Divine Liturgy will take place at 5.30 am on Sunday, 24th of June in Hrushiv. Let us remember that this pilgrimage will conclude the monthly pilgrimage of emigrants’ families (which was occurring throughout the year) to the pilgrimage places of Ukraine. The 10-day International Walking Pilgrimage of the emigrants’ families from Sambir to Zarvanytsya, which will start on 3rd of August and will conclude on 12th of August, will reach the pinnacle of the monthly pilgrimage. This year the pilgrimage route will stretch over the lands of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
