As a response to a journalist’s question about what useful experience Ukrainians can share with the world, Patriarch Lubomyr said: “A great experience which we can share is this that our people survived all attempts and efforts to tear God from our hearts. A very large number of Ukrainians of our blessed country did not allow God to be taken away. I think this is a tremendous experience, a wonderful experience which we can share with other nations.” During the interview the head of the UGCC also answered the anchor’s questions about the activity of the church in view of the economic and political realities of our days, shared his vision of how to overcome corruption, and described the traditions of charity and force of the Divine word. In conclustion, His Beatitude Lubomyr greeted the TV watchers on the great feast of Christ’s Resurrection and announced: “Let’s have greater hope in the Lord! He is Risen. He overcame death. He has the outcomes to all of our problems!” In the next few days a printed version of the TV Easter interview will be available on our site.  On April 4 viewers will be able to watch a live broadcast of Easter service with the head of the UGCC, which will begin at 9:10 on the First National TV Channel (UT-1).
