The Eucharistic week will take place in June in the parishes of Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church (UGCC)

While preparing for the 1025 Anniversary since Christianization of Ukraine, the Synod of Bishops of Kyiv-Galician Supreme Archiepiscopacy of the UGCC (the 54^th session from 27-28 of October 2011, Lviv- Briukhovychi, paragraph 6) gave their blessing to the idea of holding the Holy Sacrament of the year 2012 with the emphasis on the Eucharistic week in the parishes and approved the plan of arrangements for the week starting with the 1^st till the 7^th of June. Catechetical commission of Kyiv-Galician Supreme Archiepiscopacy of the UGCC as well as the committee responsible for the organization and conduction of the Year of the Holy Sacrament prepared the auxiliary material for the conduction of Eucharistic week in the parishes of the UGCC. In order to prepare those devoted appropriately for the Holy Sacrament of Confession and the Most Holy Eucharist, it is recommended to use “lesson for those who enter the holy sacrament of Confession and the Eucharist”; and for the better knowledge of church of Christ, it is suggested to watch the TV program “The light of the life”. The blog for the Eucharistic week of the UGCC started to function, with the help of which it is possible to receive the comprehensive information as well as to send own material (texts or pictures) concerning this topic. Methodological guideline “The Holy Sacrament in the life of Church” will be useful when preparing sermons and catechetical sciences.
