The friendly autumn ball for the people with special needs, who use wheelchairs, took place in Ivano-Frankivsk

Recently, more than three dozen of couples circled around the hall dancing the Viennese waltz during the friendly autumn ball, named "We need two, help another - become a friend for a person with special needs (the one using wheelchairs)”. This event took place due to the assistance of the Carpathian Foundation, Scanfund as well as the network of Dutch Charitable Funds for the Eastern and Central Europe. This was reported in the Maltese Aid Service of the Ivano-Frankivsk city.

The couple of dancers using the wheelchair that grabbed the attention of everyone were Palkov Vitaliy from Ivano-Frankivsk and Stefurak Nadiya from Bohorodchany, who are on the dancing stage for two years already. During this event, the King and the Queen were selected, and they were- the married couple Vasyl and Nataliya Petruniv from Tysmenytsya.

Members of the Maltese Aid Service hope that with the support of a number of people of good will there will be a possibility to make such balls annual. The ball participants express the words of sincere gratitude to the volunteers of the Maltese Aid Service for the transport and material support, for the choreographic trainings and dancing workshops, as well as to the salon of wedding and evening dresses “Anastasiya- charm” (the proprietress of which is Ostapovych Oksana) for the most exquisite dresses for our "romanticists".
