His Beatitude Sviatoslav called on Ukrainians in Germany and the Scandinavian countries to pray for Ukraine, which lives in "times of great fear." At the same time, the Head of the UGCC expressed hope that the entire world community would support our state.

The Primate made such a call at the enthronement of the Exarch for the faithful of the UGCC in Germany and Scandinavia before inviting Mr. Andriy Melnyk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, to speak.

"Let me convey to you greetings from your brothers and sisters from Ukraine," the Head of the Church said, addressing the Ukrainian diaspora in Germany and Scandinavia.

He observed that Ukraine is going through a difficult time now. "We now live in the times of great fear, but we know that the whole world community will support us. Ukraine is bleeding, suffering from war and pandemic, but it is strong, it will survive. Pray for us! May the Lord God strengthen us all and give us a day and a time when we will not grieve but rejoice. Thank you all very much," said His Beatitude Sviatoslav

It will be recalled that on April 18, 2021, the enthronement of the third apostolic exarch for Ukrainians in Germany and the Scandinavian countries, Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh, took place in Munich.
