The Head of the UGCC expressed solidarity with the Croatian people

In connection with the powerful earthquake of March 22 in Croatia, the Head of the UGCC sent letters of solidarity to Cardinal Josip Bozanic, Archbishop of Zagreb, and Bishop Zelimir Puljic, President of the Episcopal Conference of Croatia.

In the Croatian capital, a devastating earthquake caused injuries to dozens of people as well as extensive infrastructure damage, including the country's main cathedral.  In letters of solidarity and support addressed to the Archbishop of Zagreb and the President of the Episcopal Conference, His Beatitude Sviatoslav wished the Croatian people to overcome the devastating effects of the earthquake as soon as possible and assured "in constant prayers for the dear people of Croatia."
