The Head of the UGCC to Europeans: "Investing in the new Ukraine - you invest in our and your better future"

We can and must invest into Ukraine today. It was said today, 14 May by the Father and the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church His Beatitude Sviatoslav, speaking at the International Investment Conference «NEW UKRAINE 2015" in Kyiv.

"When you invest in Ukraine's security and its ability to defend itself - you invest in your own security. Investing today not only in the economic development of Ukraine, but also in education, science, culture – you will invest in the highest standards of world civilization. By investing in the economy of Ukraine – you will invest in the rich future. Because Ukraine is a rich state - the state of smart, spiritually rich people. Today we are hungry for change and transformation. By investing in the new Ukraine - you invest in our and your better future", - stressed the Head of the Church, referring to the European, Western investors.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav noted that when preparing for the Conference «NEW UKRAINE 2015", He was looking for the answer to the question of what "new Ukraine" is and where today you can see the face of the "new Ukraine". "I think a new face of Ukraine today is those guys who are giving their lives for an independent Ukraine. The face of this new Ukraine is the volunteers: beautiful girls, manly guys who do not sleep, do not rest and take care of that establishing and supporting this new Ukraine. The people of their shoulders begin to support frail public institutions needing reform and renewal. Lord God awakened in the heart of Ukraine desire to be and to live in a new way"- said the Head of the Church.

According to Him, the issue of any financial, investment projects is a matter of trust. "You may ask us who today in Ukraine can be trusted? Trust Ukrainian people that puts such high frame to politicians and statesmen who might not correspond them yet, but these people can be trusted. Is it possible today to invest in Ukraine? I would say not only possible but it is also necessary. I believe that where the goodness, truth, honesty is, there is God. And where God is, there is victory", - said His Beatitude Sviatoslav.

"Ukraine is and Ukraine will be. And it is able to protect and win that that was started by the Revolution of dignity", - assured the Head of the Church the members of the Conference “NEW UKRAINE 2015".
