The Reproduction of the Miraculous Icon of the Mother of God of Hoshiv Visits Parishes of the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy of the UGCC

On August 8, 2010, the reproduction of the miraculous Icon of the Mother of God of Hoshiv visited the last parish of the Ivano-Frankisvsk Eparchy of the UGCC, completing its visit of 23 parishes of the eparchy. As the icon visited the parishes, a reception book was passed from parish to parish in which was recorded testimonies and descriptions of prayer practices. All the faithful solemnly received the icon and during the stay of the icon confessions, liturgies, prayer services, akathists, songs to the Mother of God, and sermons were celebrated and performed. Such practice glorifies the Hoshiv Mother of God, who helps everyone who comes to her with requests and needs.
