The voice of our brothers is crying out from Babyn Yar to heavens, to Ukraine and the whole world, - Head of the UGCC praying for victims of the tragedy

This night the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and AUCCRO convey a prayer of solidarity and deep condolences to our brothers, Jewish people. Let us hear the voice of Babyn Yar today and say this “Never again!” addressing Ukraine and the whole world, - urged His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Head of the UGCC praying for victims of Babyn Yar on its 80th death anniversary.

Together with His Beatitude Sviatoslav at Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center were also praying Metropolitan Epiphany the Head of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine and Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.

Today, when Ukrainians are commemorating the 80^th anniversary of a horrific night of death, murder and tremor, the Head of the UGCC encouraged us listen to the voice crying out from the depth of Babyn Yar and stated that despite being Christians, Jewish, Muslims, Ukrainians, Russians we are humans, above all, and who are anointed by God to see a brother in our neighbor.

Remembrance events at Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center are being organized by Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, NASU Institute of History of Ukraine through support of Ukrainian World Congress.
