UGCC Commission on Justice and Peace issues invitation to the International Economic Summer School in Madrid

An international summer school on “A new economy for a united world” will take place on September 11-15, 2013 in Madrid, Spain.

An international summer school on “A new economy for a united world” will take place on September 11-15, 2013 in Madrid, Spain.

This is the second year that UGCC Commission on Justice and Peace has joined in organizing such an effort and is inviting all interested university students, degree candidates and young scholars whose interest lies in economy.  Selection will be based on the questionnaire at the e-mail listed below and further competition.  A requirement for participation is a higher than Intermediate level knowledge of English.

During lectures and practical exercises such topics as social enterprises, involvement, development, poverty, charity, happiness in new paradigms which emerge from economic societies.

Certificates will be awarded to participants who fulfill all requirements.

Teaching staff: Luigino Bruni, LUMZA University, Rome, Italy; Luca Crivelli, University of Italian Switzerland, Luann, Switzerland; Genevieve Sanze, Abidzhan, Cot d’Ivuar; Anouk Grevin, University in Nanty, France; Giuseppe Argiolas, Cal‘are University, Italy.  Also presentations will be made by entrepreneurs (both local and foreign): Teresa Ganzon, Bangko Kabajan, Мanilla, The Philippines;  John Mundell, Mundell&Associates, Inc., Indianapolis, USA.

The summer school is supported by International Association of Economic Communities (EdC) in cooperation with other local and international  organizations.
