UGCC Commission on Justice and Peace will conduct a cycle of seminars on ethics and economics

For two years the UGCC Commission on Justice and Peace organizes meetings, round tables and open lectures by European professionals with student youth of Ukraine. In particular, on May 21-25, 2013, Ukraine will host visitors who are European experts in the field of social responsibility of an enterprise and the ethical parameters of economic activities. Among them will be Alberto Ferucci, member of the International Commission on Economics of Communities, the president of Prometheus Corporation, Srl. Italia, and Marta Pancheva, doctor of economics and management from Bulgaria.

For two years the UGCC Commission on Justice and Peace organizes meetings, round tables and open lectures by European professionals with student youth of Ukraine. In particular, on May 21-25, 2013, Ukraine will host visitors who are European experts in the field of social responsibility of an enterprise and the ethical parameters of economic activities. Among them will be Alberto Ferucci, member of the International Commission on Economics of Communities, the president of Prometheus Corporation, Srl. Italia, and Marta Pancheva, doctor of economics and management from Bulgaria.

Within the project, in May meetings will be held with students, lecturers and experts in the field of economics, enterprises and business in the higher educational institutions in Ukraine, particularly in Ternopil National Economic University, Vasyl Stefanyk Transcarpathian National University in Ivano-Franjivsk, and Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. During the meetings, such issues as social enterprises, occupation, development, poverty, non-profits, mutuality, happiness in light of new paradigms which evolve from the idea of economic communities.

The group Economic Community unites businesses, management, employees, consumers, scholars, other activists in the economic field who on all sort of levels are trying to spread economic practice and culture, marked by community, non-profit and mutuality.
