UGCC Head greeted Roman-Catholic Ukrainians

Primate of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) greeted Roman-Catholic Ukrainians with the Nativity of Christ, which they celebrate today, December 25th.

In his greetings during the Holy Mass on Christmas Eve in the Metropolitan Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Lviv, the UGCC Head stated that “it is a great honor for me to greet you on behalf of the whole Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church with the Joyful Feast of the Nativity of Christ.”

“I sincerely greet you, wish you all a joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year,” said UGCC Primate to the  faithful in the church.

In the Christmas Liturgy, in addition to UGCC Head, concelebrants were also Bishop Ihor (Vozniak), Lviv Archbishop and Metropolitan and priests of UGCC Lviv Archeparchy.
