UGCC Social Days to be held in Odesa

The fifth Social Days of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church will be held in Odesa, on November 22-23. This time the focus of discussion will bethe question of human dignity, the chairman of the Commission for Promoting Christian Unity of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Father IhorShaban, told IA MOST-Odesa.
The fifth Social Days of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church will be held in Odesa, on November 22-23. This time the focus of discussion will bethe question of human dignity, the chairman of the Commission for Promoting Christian Unity of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Father IhorShaban, told IA MOST-Odesa.

To celebrate Social Days in Odesa there will be a number of events where the working group will discuss problems of the region and country, in particular, the organizers of the event will participate in a television program. There will also be an interdenominational prayer and briefing ofrepresentatives of Reconciliation Association of Christian Churches of Odesa. In addition, during a roundtable there will be a discussion on "The Dignity of a Human and Civil Society."
In St. Paul's Cathedral there will be an NGO fair and photo exhibition “The Dignity of a Human as We See It,” which will consist of a portrait gallery of people of all ages, recorded moments of real life without retouching problems and troubles.

"The main purpose of the exhibition is to use photography to promote the revitalization of communities and try to understand and reproduce one of the most important Christian traits of human existence – dignity. The exhibition includes more than 50 pieces,” said the organizers.

UGCC Social Days is an open platform to discuss topical issues of Ukrainian society.
