Ukrainian Greek-Catholics in Hungary will be granted land for building church, school and kindergarten

On September 9, 2021 His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC met in Budapest with Zsolt Semjén, deputy prime minister of Hungary. The agreement was reached to grant Ukrainians land to build a church, school and kindergarten. Ukrainian Greek-Catholics in Hungary requested His Beatitude Sviatoslav and both Roman Catholic Church and Greek-Catholic Church to support their initiative.

During the meeting the sides discussed current affairs of Ukrainian community in Hungary. Deputy prime minister assured the Head of the UGCC that Hungarian government will facilitate the process of building church and school with a kindergarten.
