A slogan “We are all equal, yet different” which we have chosen in order to outline All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations is a key to solving complex tasks and service for common good. Said His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC and a chairman in AUCCRO in his greeting word at an opening ceremony of a scientific and practical conference called on occasion of 25th anniversary of AUCCRO held these days in Kyiv.

“The aim of the conference is directed on in-depth intellectual comprehension of what All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations is. On the one hand it is a public organization, on the other hand religious communities are an inevitable part of civil society”, the chairman of AUCCRO underlined.

This community calls for a dialogue between Churches, confessions and religions in Ukraine which addresses the society and is a voice of a nation in front of Ukrainian government on the international arena. The brightest example of it traces back to the Revolution of Dignity, time when the Council of Churches became a voice of people in the face of the government.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav also mentioned that for the last twenty five years we had already worked out social studying in Ukraine which became a basement for forming democratic society according to the Ukrainian pattern.
