Bishop Taras consecrated eparchy of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Stryi

Before the ceremony of consecration, the bishop referred to the faithful, saying: “We do this in order to grant Stryi eparchy, which is a part of Catholic Church, as well as everything what is spread over this area, under the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. May she, being our Mother, advise us, so we do not do evil and avoid following Eve in her sin committed in Paradise, thus calling curse for the whole humanity. May none of us be a reason of misfortune or apostasy, but receive all graces from God through her immaculate heart, so to overcome evil, residing in the world”.

According to the order given by eparch of Stryi, this act of consecration had to conduct every priest at their parish after the prayer behind the ambo on the Day of Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God.
