Commission in matters of the youth of the UGCC conducts Great Lent biblical readings

In the Church of Holy Eucharist in Lviv starting from February 19, every Friday a Great Lent biblical reading “Follow me ...” will be conducted. On the first four Fridays of the Great Lent parts of the New Testament will be read, and on March 19 it will be possible to hear answers to the questions, which concern the read part of the biblical text.

On the first four Fridays of the Great Lent parts of the New Testament will be read, and on March 19 it will be possible to hear answers to the questions, which concern the read part of the biblical text. “During history a great number of known and unknown people found in the Bible the sense of their life, drew up force and inspiration, and met God there. These readings, I hope, will be the beginning of such searches for many of our contemporaries. Creating in the church a proper atmosphere, in particular through music and icons, will help the participants of these reading better and more completely feel the presence of the Lord. Also, every person interested can not only listen to God’s Word but also read it to others…” noted the head of commission in affairs of the youth Fr. Roman Pendiuk. Details at numbers:
