The 20th anniversary of their creative activity the duet Pysanka devoted to the memorable date of the Ukrainian Church, the triumphal exit from the catacombs, which took place 20 years ago. As a sign of respect to the jubilees and on the occasion of the Church’s anniversary, Bishop Mykolay (Simkaylo) rewarded the honored artists of Ukraine Oksana Savchuk and Ivan Kavacyuka with church rewards – medals of Saint George. The organizer of the concert of Pysanka was Bukovyna’s priest Father Valery Syrotiuk with whom Oksana and Ivan not only pray together, but for already more than ten years have combined creative forces. For Pysanka’s creative concert came admirers of the high talent of Oksana and Ivan. Loud ovations, sincere smiles, and eloquent greetings created a very festive atmosphere. It should be noted that the duet Pysanka made a considerable contribution with their talent to collect money for the completion of the construction of the Patriarch’s Cathedral of Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv.
