First Youth Prayer Breakfast was held in Ternopil

Today, December 24, clerical representatives of Ternopil-Zboriv archeparchy of the UGCC and leaders of Christian movements of Ternopil participated in a unique event – the first Youth Prayer Breakfast.

The event was organized by the Department of Family, Youth Policy and Child Protection of Ternopil.

It started with a joint prayer “Our Father” led by Fr. Roman Demush, deputy head of deputy head of UGCC Commission for Youth.

“It is necessary for us to get together today. Thank you for the meeting and for ability to erect bridges and demolish walls. Thank you for this realization: things that unite us are a lot more than what separates us; we are children of Heavenly Father”, Fr. Roman Demush emphasized.

Youth of the UGCC said a prayer for a Christian family, compiled by righteous metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky.

Representatives of different religious confessions, authorities and youth met at the festive breakfast and joined in a prayer for peace in Ukraine and prevent coronavirus from spreading.

A special atmosphere of the event was created owing Trioda band.
