Head of the UGCC met with newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See

His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Holy See Andriy Yurash. The meeting took place on Saturday, December 18, at the Patriarchal House in Lviv.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav congratulated Andriy Yurash on his appointment and assured him of his support for the diplomatic mission of the UGCC, particularly its structures in Italy.

Andriy Yurash in turn called the conversation with His Beatitude Sviatoslav "productive, highly specific and systemically inspiring," he wrote about this on his Facebook account.

During the conversation the parties discussed further cooperation in the development of Vatican-Ukrainian relations.
