On January 28, 2010, in Kyiv, in the “Ukrainian Time” press center of the Ukrainian House (2 Khreschatyk St.) at 10 a.m., the press conference of His Beatitude Lubomyr (Husar) Major Achbishop of Kyiv-Halych of the UGCC will take place. The Synod of Bishops of Kyiv-Halych Major Archbishopric of the UGCC has issued an address to the faithful of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and to the people of good will on the occasion of the second round of presidential elections of Ukraine. In the document the bishops point out the responsibility that every Ukrainian has to execute in the presidential elections and the necessity to pray to the Lord. “Our nation has to understand that the possibility to choose freely, without external compulsion, a leader of the state is a great privilege for us. At the same time this freedom obliges us to perform a holy civic duty,” reads the address which is published at the official web page of the UGCC at this reference: www.ugcc.org.ua/1057.0.html. Representatives of the mass media will be able to hear the comments of the head of the UGCC in regards to this appeal and to ask questions during our press conference.  Accreditation of workers of the mass media will be granted with the presence of journalistic certifications.  To receive additional information we kindly ask to call the number: 050 664 81 84 (Fr.
