The Father and Head of the UGCC, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, visited the wounded defenders of Ukraine in Kyiv.

“It was really unique and deeply personal – to touch and shake hands with the wounded boys, to pray for them,” noted the Head of the Church.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav observed how important God’s blessing and prayer were to the Ukrainian soldiers.  “This assures us that they are not alone in their suffering,” he added, calling upon all of us to pray for their healing, and for Ukraine’s victory.
