Leonid Kravchuk to visit Ukrainian Institute of UCU in London

The first president of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk will visit the Ukrainian Institute of UCU in London on January 13. He will share his views on current Ukrainian foreign policy to representatives from the universities of Cambridge and Oxford, the School of Slavonic Studies at London University, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the British Library, the Ukrainian diaspora, and clergy.

He will share his views on current Ukrainian foreign policy to representatives from the universities of Cambridge and Oxford, the School of Slavonic Studies at London University, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the British Library, the Ukrainian diaspora, and clergy. "The speech of former President Kravchuk will help the British remember the 20 years of Ukrainian independence. It will also underline the real value of independence and dangers that may arise from its loss. Right now, Ukrainians must have a lot to do so that they may live in a democratic and fair society," noted the director of the Ukrainian Institute of the Catholic University in London Andriy Hunder. According to Hunder, the meeting with former President Leonid Kravchuk will be held as part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of Ukrainian independence. "The event was organized with the support of Centralex Events,” said Andriy Hunder.
