Meeting of Organizational Committee for second military pilgrimage to Zarvanytsya held

On July 22 in Kyiv, a meeting of the organizational committee for the second all-Ukrainian military pilgrimage to Zarvanytsya took place.  Present were representatives of the Department of Defense of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Main Administration of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and Government Border Service. From the UGCC the deputy of head of the Department of Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC in Matters of Military Chaplaincy of Ukraine Fr. Lubomyr Yavorskyj took part. During the meeting basic organizational questions regarding the pilgrimage, which will take place on September 18-19 in Zarvanytsya, were discussed. The representatives of the armed forces expressed that there are many people interested in taking part in the pilgrimage. The organizational committee chose a slogan for the pilgrimage: “God and Ukraine.”  We remind that the first all-Ukrainian pilgrimage to Zarvanytsya for the military took place in September of last year, in which participated over 2,000 people.
