On the first day of the New Year a festive dinner for the needy was thrown in Stryi eparchy

On the initiative of Taras Senkiv, the eparch of Stryi, on the day of Circumcision of Our Lord and St. Basil the Great, January 14, a charity dinner for all homeless people and those who found themselves in critical life circumstances was thrown in the Rynok square in Srtyi.

“We decided to bring a little joy into the life of people in need and let them feel that they are not alone, by preparing a feast for them”, bishop Taras said. He also tasted bograch, cooked by Fr. Vasyl, a senior priest of a parish of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stryi.
