Religious and Public Library at the Cathedral of the UGCC was opened in Sambir

On the 18th of November, there was a festive opening of the Religious and Public Library, named after Andrey Sheptytskyi, based at the UGCC Holy Virgin Cathedral, which is located in Sambir, Lviv region.
Such a library was established by the parishioners themselves, who contributed various editions, first and foremost the ones on the religious topics, from their own libraries. It will be available for the usage for the students of the Catechetical School named after the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi, which is operating at the new cathedral. During the festive opening of the nominal library, the attendants had the possibility, through the film, to familiarize themselves with the life and work of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi, to participate in the intellectual game, named "What? Where? When?" and to win the prize. All those who are interested may use the facilities of the church library. ZIK
