The CF "Caritas of Sambir-Drohobych Diocese" provides consulting assistance to combat human trafficking

Recently, the employees of the CF "Caritas of Sambir-Drohobych Diocese" held some informational workshops in Drohobych’s city employment center, in the School of family consultant, in Drohobych Spiritual Seminary as well as in the Social Center for mothers and children.

Recently, the employees of the CF "Caritas of Sambir-Drohobych Diocese" held some informational workshops in Drohobych’s city employment center, in the School of family consultant, in Drohobych Spiritual Seminary as well as in the Social Center for mothers and children.

According to the initiators of those training, this measure is of crucial necessity, because, as it is known, people, who are in despair due to the inability to find work, are the ones who most often become victims of mediators and various fraudulent schemes. In addition, recipients will be able to more deeply understand the causes and the consequences of illegal migration and of human trafficking. It was reported by the CF "Caritas SDD".

It should be added that in the Fund there operates Consulting Center to combat human trafficking. The employees of this center provide psychological and material support; medical assistance and referral for treatment; if necessary - provide legal, medical and other social services; provide help in search for missing people abroad; provide consultation regarding the traveling abroad; provide information about embassies and consulates of Ukraine abroad .
